• 2021 Lennart Lindegren (Lund observatory, Sweden) Dirk Brouwer prize AAS/DDA - The Dirk Brouwer Career Award recognizes annually a major contributor to the field of Dynamical Astronomy, who demonstrates excellence in scientific research. The prize has been awarded to Lennart Lindegren  Professor Emeritus of Lund University.
• 2020 A. Cazeneuve : Vetlesen prize Awarded for “scientific achievement resulting in a clearer understanding of the Earth, its history, or its relation to the universe”.
• Gaia EDR3 released  2020 December 3rd
• IAUs symposium #364 has been postponed to 2021, tentative dates are: October 18-22, 2021
• Two Focus Meetings coordinated by Division A will be held during next General Assembly in 2022:
  • Astrometry for 21st Century Astronomy  
  • Synergy of Small Telescopes and Large Surveys for Solar System and Exoplanetary Bodies Research
• 2019 Nobel Prize in Physics awarded to Michel Mayor (with James Peebles and Didier Queloz).
