Cambridge University Press (CUP)
The IAU Executive have selected Cambridge University Press (Outside North America and for North America ) to publish its Symposia, Colloquia, Transactions (Vol.A ) and (Vol.B ), and Highlights in the years 2004-2008.
Features of the new contract between the IAU and Cambridge University Press are as follows:

Proceedings of Symposia and Colloquia will be published in both paper and electronic form in a journal series model.

An electronic system for submission and manuscript handling will facilitate streamlined production of the proceedings of meetings.

Conference editors will oversee the quality control of papers.

Inexpensive bulk orders, either in paper or electronic form, will be available to conference attendees.

Electronic files will be made available to the NASA ADS (and other free-access websites as determined by the IAU) 18 months after publication for free and wide distribution.

The Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP)
The Proceedings of IAU Symposia held in the years 1998-2003 are published by the Astronomical Society of the Pacific (ASP), from whom these volumes can be ordered. Members of the IAU will receive a reduced rate.
